New User Setups: $120 Each
Other systems including major software packages to be Quoted Separately
Assuming the following:
Workstations:
- Operating System: At least Microsoft Windows 2000
- Commercial anti virus scanner with auto update enabled
- No preexisting conditions as evidenced by error logs
- Workstation Administrator account secured.
- Remote administration system installed.
File Servers:
- Verification of server operation in a manner typical of intended usage
Email Servers:
- See File servers
- Email-gateway anti virus protection
Network Infrastructure:
- Verification of acceptable network stability and configuration
- Commercial anti Virus system with auto update enabled.
If these assumptions are incorrect then prior to accepting contract either these situations be remedied by a 3rd party and verified by A.S.K. Consulting or A.S.K. remedy the issues at a rate of $75 / hour.
What is covered?
General maintenance including anti virus checkups, patch management, and break/fix due to normal wear and tear (parts not included). This will also include access to online helpdesk for issue resolution and general question submission.
Optional Additional Coverage: (Charge to be determined by current state of systems)
Regular and continuous migration towards system upgrades and operational stability and strive towards optimal operating environment including the following:
- Standard image (Enables easy replacement, addition, and standardization of workstations and will decrease down time and increase productivity)
- Standard network accounts and management (Enables easy management of user accounts therefore increasing security)
- Standard practices and documentation (Increase general system stability minimizing system downtime and therefore increasing productivity)
- Basic User security training (Increase user comfort and general information security)
What is not covered?
A.S.K. Consulting will not be liable for systems or components compromised or damaged by negligent, careless, or malicious action by client or agent of client as determined by consultant. This includes installation of software or hardware, on either the systems covered or that may affect systems covered, by persons other than consultant.
