As a Database Engineer my responsibilities include information systems design, implementation, and maintenance in an effort to improve the efficiency and accountability across a district of over 34000 students and 5000 employees.

 

My many and varied projects required me to learn PHP, MySQL, ASP.NET, MS-SQL, Oracle, SSIS, Java, XML, HTML, and others in the implementation of several information systems that the District uses on a daily basis. These projects also required coordination between several departments at the district as well as management of schedules and resources.

 

           

 

Ø  Design, creation, documentation, maintenance and performance tuning of 23 database servers ranging from 2000 to 2008r2 including a 2008r2 Database Cluster with 22 separate databases in a VMware infrastructure.
